Description
3500/42M 176449-02 Digital Signal Processing Module
The 3500/42M 176449-02 module features eight analogue inputs, eight analogue outputs, and 96 digital I/O lines at an analogue input rate that is more than 3.5 times faster than previously released R-Series devices. These new modules provide engineers and scientists with commercial off-the-shelf hardware that can be graphically programmed using the NI LabVIEW FPGA Module to perform custom on-board processing for in-line data analysis and deterministic I/O control for applications requiring specialised timing and triggering.
The 3500/42M 176449-02 offers improved optimisations that provide faster code execution and greater LabVIEW code capacity than previous R-Series devices. the Virtex-5 FPGAs feature a six-input LUT architecture for dramatically improved resource utilisation and DSP slicing, enabling users to implement faster and more complex These new R-series modules combine high-speed
The 3500/42M 176449-02 also supports 2.4GHz mesh networks, providing flexibility and building cost-effective distributed monitoring systems. Low power consumption, guaranteed data integrity, support for Modbus/RTU protocol, high 16-bit accuracy of the AI module, and a wireless site survey tool in the ADAM utility. Regarding low power consumption, the module has an internal compartment for 2 AA alkaline batteries, which allows the unit to be updated at 1-minute intervals for up to a year.
