Description

1C31194G03 Ethernet IP Communication Auxiliary Module

The 1C31233G04 is a family of industrial digital I/O modules designed by Intelligent Devices to handle 96 digital lines from 3.3V to 30VDC, controlled by an isolated USB port or Ethernet IP port, depending on the module type. The Smart Device series includes 96-all-digital input modules, 96-all-digital output modules and 48-all-digital I/O modules. The digital inputs of the series range from 3V to 30VDC, while the operating voltage of the logic circuits and their pull-up resistors can be easily converted between +3.3V and +5V using software commands, best suited for test equipment. Includes a software anti-collision manual trip to select the pull-up supply voltage between the internal logic circuit power supply and the external device power supply, which can be in the positive voltage range of GND to 30VDC.

Featuring an ultra-thin housing, network-based configuration, easy-to-connect cables and an SD card slot for easy module replacement, the 1C31233G04 is designed to make life easier for system integrators. The gateway enables communication between the MODBUS protocol (widely used in process automation, measurement, sensors and actuators, etc.). and programmable programmable networks. As all bus gateways, the MOBUS Trade Agreement’s X-Gate solves important connectivity issues for system integrators and industrial network design. These issues include connecting two other incompatible networks in a plant, migrating to a new network standard or extending the length of an existing network.

The 1C31233G04 connects via a 24 VDC power supply, draws no more than 150 MA, and inputs and outputs data via 256 bytes of transparent, cyclic I/O. The new gateway is designed to provide very fast I/O data transfer between networks, typically with a latency of no more than 5 m. Dual Ethernet ports on the downlink side allow for a Dainty link and eliminate the need for parallel lines. Configuration is handled through the web interface and does not require any programming. By using SD memory cards, the gateway can be exchanged without any configuration, which greatly reduces downtime.
