Description
1784-KTX Communication Interface Card
1784-KTX microprocessor controlled relay is capable of switching 50 amp single phase AC loads at 660 volts under 4-32VDC signal control. Its internal current sensing circuitry monitors and reacts to many load failure conditions, and the RJCS alarm function can be set locally or remotely from a standard PLC. Internal over-temperature and over-current protection is standard and the RJCS can be ordered with the usual NPN or PNP switching alarm outputs on or off.The RJCS has an integrated heat sink which simply fixes to a DIN rail.
1784-KTX solid state relay is designed for industrial heating equipment where monitoring and prevention of load failure is required. The RJCS can monitor, report locally (LED), remotely (PLC) and react to the following line faults: partial or full load faults: set the required full load current by pressing the “teach” membrane button or remotely by sending a signal from the PLC controller.
1784-KTX time delay of the load alarm can be adjusted from 2-40 seconds using the built-in potentiometer. Once the load is switched on, the RJCS will monitor the load current and if the load current drops more than 13% below the set point and for a longer time than the predefined delay, it will trigger an open collector alarm and switch off the load. Line Voltage Loss, Open Thyristor Circuit: If no voltage is detected on the line, the RJCS will not switch the load on or off. Internal over-temperature: The RJCS monitors its internal temperature and will switch off the load if the permissible temperature is exceeded.
