16407-01-1 series of intelligent distributed I/O modules has been added to the XM-160 series of mechanical integral protection modules. The new XM-160 Series, which can be deployed as a standalone monitor or as part of a broader networked solution, is a complete and cost-effective solution for detecting system deterioration, providing maintenance with the intelligence necessary to correct problems before productivity is compromised. As the industry’s first machine monitoring and protection system to successfully link maintenance tools into the control architecture, the Allen-Bradley XM Series can be deployed on open-standard industrial buses, enabling plant engineering and maintenance personnel to continuously and cost-effectively monitor and protect critical plant floor assets.
