Description
Motorola MVME2100
The Motorola MVME2100 operates reliably in harsh environments. This makes it a good choice when deployed in harsh conditions such as dust, wide temperatures, shock and vibration. Most edge servers require some level of cooling and dust protection. the Motorola MVME2100 offers a high-performance edge server designed specifically for the edge. the Motorola MVME2100 offers a wide range of artificial intelligence and automation features and operates in temperatures ranging from 5° ~ 40° Celsius (ASHRAE A3). However, it still requires a semi-controlled environment to take advantage of the level of computing at the edge.
In some cases, you may choose to deploy the hardware in a communications cabinet or local server rack to protect it from natural disasters. However, if you need to place the Motorola MVME2100 directly next to equipment used for very low-latency applications, such as high-speed robotics, you can use a chassis that provides cooling and dust protection. As an alternative, you can consider mini-servers, which offer many of the same computing features as traditional rack-mounted servers, but in a smaller form factor that can survive challenging conditions.
