P3EDb HENF452778R1 ABB Electronics Capacitor


The P3EDb HENF452778R1 is suitable for ICOT applications and is used as an edge device for transmitting data to cloud-based servers. It is capable of taking data from up to 20 HART or universal analogue input channels and 14 digital inputs, has two analogue outputs and up to 12 relay outputs, and makes its data available to the system and all major automation systems via a number of communication interfaces and protocols. Interfaces and protocols include 4-20mA HART, MOBUS/MOBUS Trade Agreement/IP, PROFIBUS Data Handling System, PROFIN, ProFFIN, Ethernet/IP, Ethernet Trade Agreement/IP, USB, RS-232B/RS485 and OPC.

P3EDb HENF452778R1 through all these interfaces, Memo M communicates with PLCS, SCAD systems, distributed control systems, historians and cloud-based data structures. It also has an embedded web server that can be accessed by any web browser over the Internet once appropriate security procedures have been followed. The Memo M is mounted on a standard DIN rail, powered by 24VDC or 230VAC and protected by IP20. All connections on the front of the unit are designed to be plugged into screw or spring terminals, which are protected against reverse polarity in all cases. The spring terminals are unlocked with a slotted screwdriver. It offers 256MB of internal memory compliant with various legal directives, a 32GB SD card and a 32GB USB drive for tamper-proof data logging. Built-in software includes FDM Field Data Manager for visualisation, analysis, backup and reporting; FDA 21CFR Part 11-compliant audit trail software; and ITERM Tressens temperature sensor calibration.
