The integrated cell combines ABBATAYOORS’ flexible AC500 PLC with its IRC5 robotics controller, eliminating the cost and space of separate PLC cabinets and significantly reducing installation and runtime for robotic production cells. With up to three local I/O boards and remote I/OS bus communications, the integrated controller provides users with a single point of control for a range of production cell functions, including peripheral production equipment such as grippers, feedbacks and auxiliary machines.
