Description
SAT CM3141-02-03 Unit Module
SAT CM3141-02-03 is the most modern fault-tolerant controller based on Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture. It integrates three isolated, parallel control systems (each referred to as a sub circuit) and extensive diagnostics into one system, providing highly complete, error free, and uninterrupted process operations with two out of three voting, without system failure caused by single point failures
SAT CM3141-02-03 fully complies with IEC61508/61511 standards, adopts today’s most advanced TMR microprocessor hardware technology, and the mature and reliable TRISTATION 1131 software triple redundant fault-tolerant control system. With high reliability and high utilisation, the system is widely used in petrochemical, refining, oil and gas, chemical, electric power, rail transportation, aerospace, nuclear and other industries, and has a wide range of performance in the plant safety interlocking system ESD, steam turbine control, gas turbine control, compressor anti-surge control, offshore oil platforms, fire and gas monitoring and protection (F&G), and other aspects.
The most important feature of the SAT CM3141-02-03 is the fault-tolerant control capability that simultaneously meets high reliability and high availability. To ensure high reliability and high availability of the system, the controller, I/O modules, and communications are triplexed. The control system recognises faults in control system components, automatically removes the faulty component, and allows the faulty component to be repaired on-line without interrupting the process whilst continuing to complete the specified task. Any faults and associated data are stored in NVRAM, and in the event of a failure of any channel in an I/O module, the system guarantees that the module will remain in operation for 1500 hours and still meet the TUV AK6 rating.
