SST-1500-YCX-3-1-0 support different connection methods
With the requirements of automobile electronization and auto drive system, the traditional CAN and LIN automobile communication protocols can no longer meet the requirements of automobile signal transmission. Ethernet is one of the ideal solutions; It can be applied to both domain control (Domain) and block control (Zonal) simultaneously.
The advantage of Ethernet is that it can support different connection methods:
Directly connect to the car’s central control computer, wireless network, ECU, sensors
Connect the car’s central control computer, wireless network, ECU, and then connect sensors through CAN/LIN
The information source of the auto drive system is radar, optical data, high-definition camera, etc. The requirements for data transmission volume and system response speed are high. Generally, the backbone network requires 10GB, and the branch network requires 100MB~1GB. Traditional CAN/LIN cannot meet the demand, so a new type of on-board Ethernet came into being. However, in the new application environment of Ethernet in vehicles, we need to address potential issues such as high vibration, high temperature, high humidity, high pollution, high impact, and high electromagnetic interference (EMI) in harsh application environments.
In response to this new application requirement, Molex has launched new products that meet the requirements of in car Ethernet applications – HSALink, HSAutoGig, and HFM. We will introduce them to you at this seminar.
Through this seminar, you can learn about:
1. The current situation and development trend of on-board Ethernet
2. Various existing and ongoing solutions of Molex in the field of automotive Ethernet
3. Advantages and disadvantages of various solutions for on-board Ethernet
4. Provide practical information and better options for users in the automotive related field
