Hollysys began undertaking the computer system project of Pakistan’s Chashma Nuclear Power Plant in 1993 and obtained the KIT/KPS and conventional island control system for Qinshan Phase II in 1997. From 2007 to 2011, it was awarded a supply contract for the NC level digital instrument and control system platform for 14 CPR1000 units, including Hongyanhe. It has been 20 years and its performance has spread to most of the active and under construction nuclear power plants in China.
The HOLLiAS-N digital instrument and control system platform launched in 2006 is the third generation nuclear power instrument and control platform product launched by Hollysys. It has been successfully applied in projects such as the KIT/KPS system renovation of Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant and the computer system of Chashma Phase II Power Plant in Pakistan. Currently, it is also implementing units 1-4 in Hongyanhe, 1-4 in Ningde, and 1-4 in Yangjiang Digital I&C system projects for nuclear power plants such as Fangchenggang 1-2 units and Shidao Bay High Temperature Gas Cooled Reactor Demonstration Power Station.
The HolliAS-N digital instrument and control system platform is the nuclear power industry version of HolliAS, a mature DCS platform for thermal power plants. It improves electromagnetic compatibility and environmental adaptability in terms of hardware, and adopts a reinforced structure with seismic resistance. In terms of software, it has added functions such as an alarm system that complies with IEC62241, safety parameter calculation, power plant status judgment and management, equipment status management, online operation logs, and digital procedure display.
